Installation & Commissioning
Our installation and commissioning engineers work on system testing in-house before equipment is shipped as part of their preparations. With valid safety and survival certificates for offshore working, they also carry out installation and commissioning work world-wide, both as supervisors and as implementers. They can be contracted to train clients own system operators and maintainers before leaving the site.
All site work is backed up by technical experts at our head office, who are always on call to assist if needed.

Calibration
We offer a full re-calibration service to match your quality assurance requirements. Our own strainstall designed compression machine has a calibrated capacity of 17MN (1733 tonnes). From 30kN to 12MN it has been calibrated to BS EN ISO 7500, achieving the maximum possible certification of Grade 0.5. This means it is capable of accuracies to within 0.5% of the reading when tested to the ISO standard. Our tension calibration equipment is ACAS certified and graded to 1.0 for load cells up to 150 tonnes. A complete five-step calibration is undertaken, and a certificate to national standards issued for each piece of equipment. We accept load cells from any manufacturer, and our average turnaround time is less than one week.

Repairs
The majority of our load cells are manufactured from corrosion resistant high tensile steel, using the most modern adhesives and production methods available. Consequently most of our customers enjoy years of trouble free service. However, in the rare case of a problem arising with one of our load cells, or any other piece of our equipment, we offer a complete repair service.
